Bears will not be Seen Laughing inside the Purple Reign
Ugh.
I apologize to my TCR brethren for not coming up with something to read this week end while TCR is down. But jeebus the last thing the Bears need right now is a game up in Minnesota.
Instead of watching this massacre I suggest you do the following things this Sunday at 3:00 pm Central.
-Get to know your family
-Christmas Shopping
-Take a walk, its 55 degrees here in Chicago on Nov 28!
-Make a diorama out of your Thanksgiving leftovers of the Bears beating the Cowboys 44-0 in a 1985 game
Ok? We will survive this.

I was talking with my dad and brother in law about the upcoming game while frying the Thanksgiving turkey. I decided that the only way the Bears have a chance would be if Peterson and Favre both don't play.
Most teams would decide to stack the box and stop Peterson. I don't think the Bears will stop him even if they do.
Favre has been playing in control for the Vikings, which has been the key to success. They have so many capable receivers that any one of them could be the one to beat you.
My biggest concern for this game is that Jay Cutler survives it. The offensive line has had so much trouble against average pass rushes that Jared Allen and company will get to him early and often. They are truly the class of the division, and should face New Orleans for the right to go to the super bowl.
Ugly but Honest Prediction:
Vikings 48
Bears 16
Peterson is listed as questionable last I read..
our only hope...
Fire da bums already!

http://blogs.suntimes.com/bears/2009/11/omiyale_expected_to_replace_be.html
Brad Biggs is reporting that Omiyale will be the starting LG today.
Beekman isn't much of a G, especially with Pace next to him, but I don't believe that Omiyale will be an improvement. Hopefully I'm wrong about that.
so probably a good thing I didn't get to watch the game?
Just fire Lovie and Angelo tomorrow...
Fire da bums already!
Pretty brutal. No attempt to run the ball. Cutler was looking like he was in a John Shoop offense.
Defensively they tackled Peterson a few times earlier than I thought they would. Tommie Harris actually made some tackles that I noticed, so it was nice that he was playing.
Overall they were completely manhandled by a better team on both sides of the ball
