Bears face Samurai Coach

By doug_plank - Posted on 10 November 2009

Thursday game. Short week. Demoralizing defeat. Cross country trip.

Good time to pay a visit to Samurai Coach?

I dont think so.

I imagine the Bears could spend the week end in Northern California after the game.

Here are some travel tips for one of my favorite areas in America.

Golden Gate Bridge-

One of the world's most beautiful bridges. The San Francisco icon has over 40 million cars travel on it every year.

Only twice as many defensive pass rushers the Bears offensive line has allowed this year.

Muir woods-

The mighty red woods. Beautiful forest just 20 minutes north on the Golden Gate Bridge. Also the film "Vertigo" filmed a scene there, which is also what Jay Cutler will be suffering from after the pourous offensive line lets him get abused for the 10th week this season.

Alcatraz-

The former federal pentitary was home to some of the most vicious criminals of the 20th century and is now the world largest bird bath and sometime film location. Tommy Harris might want to visit and maybe he will like it enough to stay.

Napa Valley-

Beautiful wine country.

And a perfect place to have a bed and breakfast to recover from the hangover you will have after drinking half the valley dry after crapping your pants for the second straight week.

good news is 49ers don't have much of a passing game to attack the Bears...

bad news is we're still the Bears...

49ers win this one for their coach, 16-13

Fire da bums already!
